Now that you have seen some of the best courses and universities that offer M.Tech in various fields of Biotechnology ... now we will see the oppurtunites for students wanting to do Ph.D after their Engineering degree in biotechnolgy.Here goes the institutes and universities.(How to Crack!!! these institute can be found in the forth coming postings)

• All the IIT's offer Ph.D in life sciences and related fields (careful some ask for higher percentage and some ask for M.Tech)
• CCMB offers Ph.D in various fields of life sciences.CHeck out the notification in its website http://www.ccmb.res.in/ .(One of the top most institutes in India)
• HCU -hyderabad central university also offers
• NCBS and TIFR also offers PH.D in various fiedls of life sciences.Check website for more information http://www.ncbs.res.in/ .(one of the premier and most wonderful institute in India.....check out the profiles of the scientists and their present works.I have seen it ...its really classic and you feel as if you entered a foriegn place).
• IISC bangalore also offers Ph.D in almost all fields of life sciences.(IISc is among the worlds top 500 universities with a rank of 317 and followed by IIT karagpur 318...for more information on ranking check out http://www.arwu.org/ranking.htm ...my dream is to study in one of those top universities)
